Original Gouache Painting by Alyssa Salazar
Some memories don't become important because of what happened.
They become important because of who we were while they were happening.
Tuesday in Madrid was inspired by a season of beginning again. A reminder that transformation rarely arrives all at once. More often, it unfolds quietly through ordinary afternoons, familiar cafés, conversations that linger, and the simple act of choosing to stay.
This painting is part of an ongoing collection exploring memory, place, and the art of becoming.
I hope it reminds you that the life you're creating today is quietly becoming the life you'll one day remember.
